New Comic Drop

Behold the new comic I’m working on: Work Dogs!

  • I’ve posted the first one already, if you want to check it out. This series follows our two main characters Butch and Rodolfo, two dogs that work at a hot dog stand. Tag along as they navigate through challenges that their weird world presents them like rival food stands, massive corporations, spelunking, and burnt chili.

What happened to Steve the Buff Guy?

  • Don’t worry, Steve as well as the Stunk Comics are still being worked on. I’ve just been trying to brain storm and work the kinks out of his story. If I’m able to fully complete it, I hope Steve to have several arcs. However, I’m not that good at story telling, so I have to go over it a lot. As well as there are some tones and topics I’d like to go over in the series that I don’t have experience in, so research is required for those parts. Which is a problem, because this has caused me not to make Steve the Buff Guy content in over 2 years. Which after typing all this out now, makes me think that Steve isn’t really relevant anymore as the content people associate me with, so maybe I’m making this a bigger deal than it actually is. However, I digress. Another issue that I have is the series is supposed to be a “traditional” comic series; or at least an attempt at one, so he’s going to take longer to illustrate. Which also means that I will make the series black and white instead of color going further to make production faster. Which is a bummer, but I am only one person after all.

With that I hope you look out for more of my work. I appreciate you taking the time to read my post!

No need to rush through it, stories do take a lotta time to build regardless. I believe Steve can be in a hiatus once you put more ideas together, hopefully you can get some good ones actually going with him. I found his comics to be pretty funny and charming, for them to expand into something interesting while still carrying some charm would be amazing. Stunk Comics can be more random shenanigans in my eyes, those work and have a far more broad reach for you to tap into, might prove to be more fun for you like that. and for these two worker dogs, you're already goin' well with 'em, I like the concept and I think there's a lot to work with, just hope you get some good ideas with Steve The Buff Guy tho, his premise is very simple but with your style and writing it may have some charm. don't let the creativity die down :P
